THE FARM

's weather last week helped to Agnes and Richard to work hard (as always). There are already more than 5000 plants introduced for 2011.

OUR ACTIVITIES

The idea peasant A consumer group enters into a contract with a local gardener. Each consumer purchases in advance its share of the harvest by subscription. Vegetables are shared each week (AMAP can also work with other types of cheese production, egg)

A healthy diet and a healthy environment: products are fresh, seasonal, diversified, grown without chemicals and available as they ripen. The proximity of the farm (Cravent) minimizes transport and use packaging.

A successful local economy, and social solidarity: consumers share the producer with the risks and benefits associated with natural farming. The advance purchase guarantees an income to farmers and allows him to get his supplies (seeds ...) without going into debt.

social ties, education, taste and the environment: The farmer is present at each harvest sharing to help us discover its products and its business.

Morocco Match

Agnes message: "We had the idea to combine the CSA with the association" to live my campaign "that has put us in contact with Moroccan farmers last year.
The principle would initially just some of us can spend their holiday in a Moroccan firm Immersion, although with a Moroccan guide speaking French. A majority of the money paid for the stay goes into the pocket of the farmer and the rest for the operation of the association. It is a kind of tourism fair not too expensive. We were in the Atlas mountains and it was our best 5 days of travel without challenges. We have helped Omar bedding his onions, plowing with mules and sow his peas (treated with Monsanto's seeds are found only in the region), but we also trudge in the mountains with his ass ... In
Secondly, we could also extend to the second farm which is AMAP in Casablanca. Then extend to associated equivalent in other countries but we do not there yet. "

Runners? Agnes count or Office! A great adventure, having fun ...
