After another good defenders like Tomas Kaberle and Eric Brewer, our friend Gauthier could get their hands on the superb defenseman Erik Johnson of Blues.
Okay, the Avalanche gave a very good striker as Chris Stewart, a first-round picks (plus a conditional second-round draft choice) and maybe a defender who will become good in attack with Kevin Shattenkirk. Looking
that Gauthier could give back apart round choices. To become an offensive defenseman as Shattenkirk, Yanick Weber could do the trick. In the forwards Andrei Kostitsyn could be a logical choice, but he has not the value of a Stewart, otherwise the young Max Pacioretty.
In my opinion, Gauthier could easily get their hands on the defender very promising future. But instead we went for Gauthier friend Mara and I also knew he had negotiated late into the evening for a player like that. Hoping that this will not be the last move, otherwise I do believe that our chances in series will be screwed up! Unless Price becomes Halak (playoff version 2010).
